Our classroom renovation project transforms underprivileged schools across Sudan, giving children the space and tools to thrive. In 2017, Alassal School near Khartoum led the way, overcrowded classrooms and floor seating were replaced with sturdy desks and benches. The success inspired further renovations and strengthened our mission: revitalize classrooms, empower children, and build brighter futures, one school at a time. 

 The Oaknna Foundation’s School Library Project brings the joy of reading to underprivileged students across Sudan. By turning empty classrooms into vibrant libraries, like at Alassal School, we provide access to books that spark curiosity and imagination. Our goal: nurture young minds, one library at a time. 

In Sudan, hunger among schoolchildren hampers their learning and growth, but Oaknna is determined to make a difference. Through our school lunch program, we're ensuring every child has regular access to meals. With just a $100 donation, we can sustainably provide meals for a student for a whole school year, fostering their educational success. We're expanding our reach by partnering with dedicated teachers to identify and support vulnerable students. With community engagement and unwavering commitment, we aim to break the cycle of hunger and unlock every child's potential.

 
The Youth Leadership Program offers a transformative platform exclusively designed for Sudanese youth, with a particular emphasis on empowering young women. Through immersive leadership training workshops, the program cultivates essential skills such as critical and creative thinking, ethical responsibility, effective communication, and impactful public speaking.
